Shortlist Grooming Awards and London College of Beauty Therapy plus more

Last week I had the pleasure of being the photographer for the

Shortlist Magazine Grooming Awards. This took place

at the Harrods Penthouse. Man of the Year went to Tailor

Patrick Grant.

An early start, there was a reception in the Ralph Lauren

section on the ground floor and then breakfast was served upstairs.

Continuing with the grooming theme, I covered the world record attempt by The

London College of Beauty Therapy. A busy day with over 2200 coming through

to get their nails done. They took the British record with the world in their sights!

Some behind the scenes shots for a recent fashion shoot I did.

Using mostly garments from Tailor Aaron Ray Dowie’s collection.

Actual images to come at a later date.

Thanks to Photographer Wendy Hartland for these images

SWEET LIKE CANDY

Now the gap is a little bit closer together I decided to update you with one event and one shoot.

First up, I did a job for Harrods PR team in their resturant The Laduree.

It was an introduction to a competition

“style the cyclist”.

Entrants have to create a look for a cyclist using social media website Pintrest.

Using only items from the Harrods website, the final looks must be both fashionable and practical.

The deadline is Thursday 17th May.

Images from the event. It was sweet because the hot chocolate and macaroons WERE MY BREAKFAST!!!

EVEN SWEETER

As a lot of my recent jobs have been in events I decided to do a test shoot

to keep the creative juices flowing. I have wanted to shoot with

FILIP JANKOVIC for over a year. I bumped into him while shooting an

event and decided I had left it too long!!!

Luckly I wasn’t bound by fashion/clients so I could go a bit crazy and just see what happens under my own set theme of sweet food.

This dancer was more of a muse than a model as the shoot was inspired by him.

Had me feeling like a old school Artist!!!
